Tulisa Speaks Out On Twitter Abuse
Tulisa has admitted that despite her successful music and TV career, she sometimes feels 'hated’ due to the amount of abuse she receives on social networks. T said to the Daily Mirror: "If I was to base my opinion on Twitter I'd be like, 'Oh my god, I must be the most hated woman in Britain…’
“But I go around the street and despite all the abusive messages not one person comes up to me and says anything other than nice things and ask for a picture."
Speaking of the hurtful comments, the ‘Young’ singer said: "People just do it for the sake of it – they will sit down and write the most horrific, abusive messages and they couldn't care less. Sometimes they are 12-year-old kids sending these things. I've seen grown women read the messages and it brings tears to their eyes."
The star hasn’t just been bullied by members of the public, but also by a celebrity – Lord Sugar. The Apprentice boss previously wrote several posts on Twitter about the star whilst the X Factor was on, with one reading: "This Tulisa talks nonsense on X factor, what qualifications does she have to judge singing talent. Please advise where I am missing the point."
The singer is releasing her debut album ‘The Female Boss’ next month.
