Usher Announces European 2013 ‘Euphoria’ Tour
Following a very dramatic year in his personal life, Usher is heading off the Europe to see in the new one as he has recently announced that he will touring across Europe. The 21-date tour will kick off in January in Amsterdam…
The star will then go on to Germany and Belgium before hitting London on January 27 for a show at the o2 arena. He will then travel on to venues in Glasgow, Birmingham, Sheffield, Nottingham and Manchester. The ‘Climax’ singer will finish off in Paris in March.
Meanwhile, the singer has recently been in the news following his revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey. The star admitted that whilst he said he cancelled previous European tour dates due to illness, he was actually suffering from a breakdown.
He revealed: "I never talked to anybody about my breakdown. I didn't want them to say, 'Wow, he's unstable, he can't cope with being an entertainer and a dad’.
"It was because I could not see my boys and right as I'm getting ready to open up my Berlin show, I'm expecting them [to arrive]. They don't come, and I'm gonna be gone [on tour] for two months.
"I think I made it through the first number and when I lifted my voice, I remember it just not being there. It was just gone and I felt like I would never perform again.
"Wow. I'd never been booed before. I felt like a failure to [the fans], I felt like a failure to my sons. I just felt helpless, what can I do? I broke down and I didn't get myself back together for a minute. I cancelled a lot of dates."
