V Festival: Highlights
V Festival is taking place this weekend (August 17 and 18) in Hylands and Weston Park, with headliners Beyonce and Kings Of Leon brightening up the stage as the weather remains cloudy with rain. Tulisa was spotted in the VIP area at the festival yesterday; although she was not performing, she came to watch the acts and was sporting a new hairstyle, showing off shorter brunette hair.
Speaking of new hairstyles, Beyonce rocked the main stage last night at Hylands Park (August 17) with almost shoulder-length blonde hair. Last week, the star debuted a pixie crop via Instagram, but decided not to flaunt the dramatic cut on stage, adding some slight length for the set.
B hit the Virgin Media Stage to perform hits new and old, from ‘Naughty Girl’, ‘Crazy In Love’ and ‘Irreplaceable’ amongst many other bangers. She had several costume changes; rocking her now trademark Mrs Carter glittering purple catsuit, a revealing black and white bodysuit, and her famous white leotard.
Jessie J also took to the Virgin Media Stage wearing a revealing two piece black and white number to perform her hits, including her latest song ‘Excuse My Rude’ featuring Becky G. She told the crowd: "I appreciate the continued support for two years. Don't try and dilute yourself for anyone else."
The ‘Price Tag’ singer also revealed that her sophomore album will be released on September 23 and is called ‘Alive’.
Other acts at Weston Park on the day included Labrinth who performed ‘Earthquake’, Maverick Sabre, Katy B, Jessie Ware, A*M*E, Sam Smith and Misha B. James Arthur was schedule to perform, but had to pull out over a throat infection.
Highlights from the show will be shown on Channel 4 today (August 18).
