Will.i.am Back To Drawing Board After Thief Leaks Album Tracks
Perfectionist Will.i.am is taking his upcoming solo album ‘Willpower’ back to the drawing board and recording new material after tracks were leaked online. The Black Eyed Peas singer tweeted: “I’m trying to finish #willpower… & now because of all the leaks I have to push the album back to make new songs… I will give you updates soon…”
“If you know anyone that knows the people responsible #stopthem,” he continued.
The tracks were leaked shortly after The Voice coach’s car was stolen last month during a launch party for the album. A video emerged online shortly after, featuring an anonymous man rummaging through a bag teasing: “Now what’s inside, let’s take a peak, gadgets, gadgets, songs to leak. I’ll leak them here, I’ll leak them there – I will leak them everywhere.”
The album is expected to feature collaborations with Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Nicole Scherzinger and Britney Spears.
The release date has been delayed from September 24, with a new one yet to be set.
