Wretch 32 On The Olympics: 'we've Been Waiting A Lifetime For This'
With the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony taking place today, Wretch 32 speaks on the forthcoming festivities, and what it means to him for London to be hosting the games. “We’ve been waiting a lifetime for London 2012 Olympics” he said, promising today’s opening ceremony will be “a big one...”
The ‘Forgiveness’ rapper opened yesterday’s Olympic Torch Relay Finale in London’s Hyde Park, treating the audience to an amalgamation of some of his biggest hits thus far. “This is it, man,” he told Capital FM, adding that the country needs to enjoy the festivities, as they are unlikely to take place in our city again.
“We’ve been waiting a lifetime for this and it’s here now, and it won’t be here for another lifetime,” he said. “So tomorrow’s a big one, man!”
Are you feeling patriotic yet?
