The X Factor USA Renewed For Third Season
The X Factor USA has been confirmed by Fox to be returning for a third season, with Simon Cowellbreaking the news himself on his official Facebook page.
SiCo posted: "I wanted you guys to be the first to know that FOX have confirmed that @TheXFactorUSA will be back next year for its third season."
And Fox exec Mike Darnell elaborated in a statement, praising the show's development sinceBritney Spearsand Demi Lovato[uuid=6bd5a8b4-3ac2-43b0-8621-b82219f1dfd2]joined the judging panel[/uuid].
He said: "This season, Simon [Cowell] and the producers of The X Factor took an already strong show and made it absolutely fantastic.
"The format changes are working, the contestants are unbelievably talented, and Britney and Demi - alongside Simon and LA [Reid] - have brought an incredibly fun new chemistry to the judges' panel that our fans really love.
"We feel great about the show and I'm thrilled to bring it back next year for season three."
The live shows start in the current series on 1 November, when Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez will be [uuid=7c4a79ac-77b2-488c-b55d-f5979ea97b3b]taking over hosting duties[/uuid].
