Thor: The Dark World Gets New Trailer

A new trailer for Thor: The Dark World has been given an online premiere as part of Chris Hemsworth return as the Norse superhero, this time facing off against Christopher Eccleston as villain Malekith and his "dark elves".

Thor is seen wielding his hammer in London as an ancient threat arrives in the British capital.

The movie will also see the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Tom Hiddleston as Loki - Thor's adoptive brother.

Opening on 30 October, the film's cast also includes Idris Elba, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings and Zachary Levi.

Tom Hiddleston has revealed that Loki will not feature in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
