Thor: The Dark World Gets UK Poster
Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman feature in promo image for sequel...
The UK poster for forthcoming movie sequel Thor: The Dark World has been revealed.
Featuring Chris Hemsworthas the Norse superhero and Natalie Portmanas love interest Jane Foster - the poster also contains several London landmarks engulfed in some kind of catastrophe.
The follow-up to 2011's Thor sees the Marvel Comics hero turn to his villainous adoptive brother Loki for help as they face a common enemy in Christopher Eccleston's Malekith.
And Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, has been telling The Huffington Post how he suggested several new scenes featuring his popular character.
"I'm in the film more than I was," he explained.
"We were adding new stuff, so that was fun for me. And some of the things were scenes I'd actually pitched for a long time ago.
"The thing about Kevin Feige is he's very, very open and collaborative. And he and Louis D'Esposito, who run the studio - I find it very admirable that they're open to ideas. Possibly more now than they would have been the first go-around.
"Chris Hemsworth and myself have lived inside these characters for two movies now and we've been inside every scene and we know what works and we know what doesn't work. And also, we know what we've done and what we shouldn't try to repeat."
Thor: The Dark World will be released on 30 October in the UK.
