T.I. 'Disappointed To Be Back In Prison'
Apparently, the rapper didn't expect the 11 month sentence...
The Dead And Gone singer, who was released from prison last year, has found himself back behind bars after an Atlanta judge revoked his probation following his arrest for drug possession.
T.I. had pleaded with U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. to send him to rehab instead for the charges, but the judge sentenced him to 11 months in prison.
Tip's lawyer, Dwight Thomas, told Freddyo.com: "Of course we're disappointed in the sentencing. At the same time, it's far less than what the government asked for…"
He added: "Of course he's disappointed. This is not what he expected; this is not what he wants in his life at this point."
Reports also suggest that Tip may not be able to release his new LP, King Uncaged, by the end of 2010 as planned, as a result of his new jail term.
