Superstar producer Timbaland has been arrested in Germany following a show with Justin Timberlake.

The man behind Give It To Me allegedly assaulted a man in a Cologne bar after arguing with the German.

According to reports Timbaland was provoked by the victims racist language during the row which happened late Sunday night.

The injured man was taken to hospital while the US producer behind Justin, Missy Elliot and Nelly Furtado was arrested by cops.

He was released early Monday morning on bail while German police investigate the incident.
