Tinie Tempah High-Fives Prince William During BAFTAs Performance!

Rapper tells the BBC it "felt great" to show Wills some skin when opening the show with his track 'Heroes'...

Tinie Tempah caused a stir at the BAFTAs last night (February 16) by high-fiving the Duke of Cambridge during his performance at the bash.

The Pass Out hitmaker kicked off proceedings at the Royal Opera House, taking to the stage with singer Laura Mvula to perform their collaboration Heroes.

During his performance, Tinie took off into the crowd and decided to show Prince William some love by giving the Royal a high-five on camera.

Wills - who attended the ceremony with Chief Executive of BAFTA, Amanda Berry OBE - was caught smirking to himself as Tinie 'gave him some skin'.

After his performance, Tempah told the BBC that it "felt great" to high-five the Prince, adding that he's met William a few times so he "felt safe" in making the move.

However, when MTV News UK caught up with the 25-year old on the red carpet, he insisted that he wouldn't be doing a Taylor Swift and perform with Wills, stating: "This is my moment!"
