Tinie Tempah On Miley Cyrus: “She Has A Plan”
Children of the Sun rapper sympathises with child stars…
Tinie Tempahdoesn’t spend much time raving with the freshers anymore, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten what it’s like to be a kid: “It's really hard for somebody in the public eye to grow up.”
"Everything happened with me at kind of like a perfect age. I was 19, 20,” Tinie told Miley Cyrus, I think about the fact that everyone would always see this girl as Hannah Montana.”
Referring to Miley’s recent headline-grabbing antics – which include the infamous twerking episode at the VMAs and rocking her birthday suit in the Wrecking Ball vid – Tinie continued, “I do think sometimes you have to go a bit extreme to kind of get people's attention. And I think that's exactly what she's done.”
While the rapper isn’t necessarily impressed by her stunts, he’s confident Miley knows what she’s doing: “She picks the right moment to do things to get people talking. And I'm not saying I condone it or anything like that but when you look at it objectively - she clearly has a plan.”
“Her album is selling really well and people and people are buying her music so it seems like the plan is working."
