Tinie Tempah Wants To Work With Arctic Monkeys
The rapper talks "creative, far-fetched" collaborations in new interview…
Tinie Tempah has revealed he would love to do a collaboration with Brit rockers the Arctic Monkeys.
The rapper explained during a chat with Gigwise that, when it comes to working with other artists, he's keen to push the boundaries and work with acts outside his own genre.
The Trampoline star admitted: "When it comes to collaborations, there's no boundaries basically. Arctic Monkeys, especially after their last record - I'd love to work with them."
He continued: "I don't necessarily have a comfort zone musically. I just feel like when you collaborate with somebody, especially in this day and age where music is so fickle and people always want to hear new things, I think the more and more creative and the more far-fetched you can make your collaboration the better."
The 24-year-old star pointed to his collaboration Miami 2 Ibiza with DJs Swedish House Mafia as an example of artists from different genres coming together to produce a hit record.
Tinie added: "Even when I did the tune with Swedish House Mafia, I knew people were confused but it turned out to be a really, really big thing for both of us and it's a song that's lasted for a very long time."
Tinie Tempah releases his new album Demonstration on November 4.
