Tom Cruise 'Gags Katie Over Divorce Deal'
Actor has apparently prevented Holmes from discussing their agreement...
Earlier this week, the former couple announced that they have reached an out-of-court settlement, with Holmes' lawyer Jonathan Wolfe praising Tom's counsel "for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring this speedy resolution."
TMZ has since claimed that Cruise insisted on a confidentially clause as a key part of their divorce settlement, with sources claiming that the contract is "incredibly detailed" - espeically when it comes to six-year old daughter Suri's upbringing.
Despite Wolfe stating that terms of their agreement "will not be disclosed", the US celebrity website reports that the Top Gun actor drew up a contract with Katie's team detailing his relationship with Suri.
The former Dawson's Creek star is then said to have negotiated restrictions on what they can teach her about religion, including Cruise's controversial beliefs on Scientology.
It is thought that these restrictions will be relaxed once their daughter gets older.
TMZ adds that Cruise is 'determined' not to make any details of his private life public, and has requested in the agreement that Katie must not reveal details of his religion.
A source said: “Confidentiality was the key. If Katie hadn’t signed up to remain silent it could have become a very messy legal battle.”
Despite rumours concerning TomKat's divorce, Holmes' agent confirmed: "The terms will not be disclosed.”
Meanwhile in other related news, Holmes has revealed in an interview with ELLE magazine that she 'feels sexier' now she is getting older.
The 33-year old explained: "I always felt like a little girl before... I didn't even know what sexy was. [But] anytime you feel good about yourself, you embody sexiness. It's almost like a power or a confidence or a secret.
"I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier. I think in my 20s - it's like you're trying too hard to figure everything out... I'm starting to come into my own. It's like a new phase."
