The first UK poster for Tom Cruise's new movie Jack Reacher has been revealed.
Based on one of a series of books by British author Lee Childs, the movie sees Hollywood megastar Cruise playing a former military policeman called in to investigate a multiple killing by a sniper.

It is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote The Usual Suspects, and also stars Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall and Werner Herzog - among others.
Cruise has previously said he is sympathetic to fans of the book, One Shot, on which the movie is based - because some have voiced concern that he is a poor match for the character of Jack Reacher.
Enthusing about the character, he told Empire: "Reacher is such a great character. He doesn't have a cell phone, he doesn't have email. He's off the grid. He pays for things in cash.
"People look at things through the prism of the colours of their life, but Jack Reacher does things the way we want to sometimes. In that sense he's sort of a Dirty Harry, a James Bond, a Josey Wales."
The film is set for release on 21 December in the UK.
