Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes Officially Divorced
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now officially divorced.
The couple, who announced their split in June after five years of marriage, have finalised their divorce after reaching an [uuid=81b05e8e-74af-40fb-bfec-f921c9fd28eb]out-of-court settlement in July[/uuid].
According to Digital Spy, the end of TomKat's marriage was marked by court papers filed in New York on Monday, with a judge officially signing off their agreement.
No further details - including the custody of their six-year old daughter Suri - have emerged, although it is thought that Katie has primary custody of the child.
The youngster has since been spotted out and about with Holmes in New York after [uuid=d10550f3-f449-4cb7-82f7-42f43aa14912]enjoying a trip to Disney World[/uuid] with Tom.
Earlier this month, Radar Online claimed that Suri was 'adjusting well' following the breakdown of her parents marriage, with a source telling the website: "Both Katie and Tom have really gone out of their way to make sure the transition between both households is as easy and normal as possible for Suri.
"Tom and Katie aren't fighting with each other because they haven't seen each other and so Suri has been protected from any uncomfortable situations. And both have agreed to not say anything derogatory about the other.
"Suri is used to her dad being away filming and not spending every single day with him. She loves the daddy daughter time they get together and loves the trips so this isn't a new thing for her."
They added: "She always spent time with him either on set or at home and even on vacation so she's really adjusted well."
