Batman director Christopher Nolan also helmed that movie and it seems he liked what he saw in the young actor.

Deadline magazine reports that Hardy is confirmed for a role in the follow up to Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

So far there is no word on who he’ll play but there is already speculation he could be The Riddler or even Robin.

First though Tom will shoot espionage flick Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and take on the title role in a new Mad Max movie.
