Just when we thought Tom Hiddleston had spoken real life words about his new relationship with Taylor Swift, well, the truth was revealed. And it wasn't half as juicy.

You may have seen a few headlines today claiming Tom had 'spoken out for the first time' about his romance with the Bad Blood singer, using words like 'roller coaster' and 'delight'.

And while they seemed fairly legit, albeit coming from a Belgian radio show, fans quickly realised it was all a ruse.

"I would describe it as a roller coaster ride of action and spectacle and lots of laughs," Hiddleston was made out to have said.

"She is an absolute delight. She's actually, um...She's got such a wicked sense of humor and she's a really fun person to have around. She's really great."

But alas,E! Newshave confirmed that Qmusicdid infact splice together old interviews with the Brit actor, calling the stunt "a joke".
