Tony Scott Suicide Note 'Gave No Motive'
Movie director's letter reportedly just said he loved his wife and family...
US gossip website TMZ claims that although the veteran filmmaker did write a short note expressing his love for his wife and children, there was no clue as to why he might have wanted to commit suicide.
TMZ's source apparently described the note as "short and sweet".
Although Scott was reported to be suffering from an inoperable brain tumour, this was quickly denied by his family - who said he had no serious medical issues.
The 68-year-old was also director of Days Of Thunder, Crimson Tide and Man On Fire - among other movies. He is the brother of Ridley Scott.
