TEED & DJs Pave The Way For The Oxjam Music Festival

REVIEW: As one week of music closes a whole month opens...

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, the indie/electronic DJ known for his eccentric dress and prehistoric costumes joined Holy Ghost, Psychemagikand Zero 7 for the last night of the Oxjam launch party series (September 26). Sadly, dubstep turned disco heavyweight, Skream could not make the evening but that didn’t stop East London’s raving crew from getting their rocks off with Juan MacLean happily stepping in to go back2back with TEED.

Feeling: Picking straight up from where 2manydjs left off at Wednesday night’s knees up, non-stop house party vibes and an overwhelming relief that the weekend is nigh. No breaks, no intervals just a continuous knees up for night four in the, by then, not so secret Shoreditch location where the events have taken place.
Tunes: Drum kits and guitars were thrown out of the window for last night’s event with all eyes on the decks. It’s hard to think back to a time when House wasn’t king as the acts showed last night playing everything from Deep to Jackin', think 90s throwbacks, Flat Beat’s Mr Oizo a prime example.
