95% of the wine made in Switzerland is kept in Switzerland, and we can see why. Not only is it too good to share, the fact is that they don't make enough to export. We're cool with that, it just means we'll have to come back to Lausanne to get our Swiss wine fix.

Durig Chocolatier is located in the centre of Lausanne, and they friendly and welcoming staff couldn't have beenmore helpful. They invited us into the chocolatier and showed us where the magic happens, as well as letting us taste the best of Swiss chocolate.

Visit this beautiful family-run vineyard just a short train journey outside of Lausanne. Domain Croix Duplex has been run by the Vogel family for three generations and the wine really does speak for itself.

David Bowie, Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn are just a handful of the celebrities that have chosen to reside in Lausanne. Now that we've been there and experienced how amazing Switzerland is we can see why they chose to live there. For all those fashion moguls out there you can even visit Coco Chanel's resting place, which is located just a short bus journey away from Lausanne's city centre.
