A Harry Potter Cruise Is Coming to London This Summer
For ultimate fans...
There’s another reason to start looking forward to summer, and it comes in the form of a Harry Potter cruise.
Boating specialists Barge Lady Cruises will be running a six-day Harry Potter-themed cruise down the River Thames in August (yes, that’s almost an entire week of Potter-themed fun) takes guests on a magical tour of locations featured in the books and movies, and features a Hogwarts themed dinner on the first night, after setting sail from London.
Tour hotspots include Virginia Water - where Harry meets Buckbeak in Prisoner of Azkaban, and the setting for the second Triwizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire, Picket Post Close (Privet Drive in the first film), and the Great Hall at Christ Church College in Oxford.
Guests will also go on a guided tour of the Harry Potter sets at Warner Brothers Studios in Hertfordshire, which features the Gryffindor boys dormitory, Dumbledore’s office, the Knight bus and SO much more.
The boat has space for 7 people onboard and starts at around £2935 - so unless you’ve got a plan to rob Gringott’s anytime soon, you’d better start saving.
