Everyone loves Ed Sheeran - even the tourism board of a Japanese Island, who are attempting to entice the world’s favourite red head (sorry Prince Harry) to visit - with the promise of some serious pussy (cats).

The tiny Ainoshima Island is literally nicknamed ‘Cat Heaven Island’ due to the inordinate amount of feline inhabitants, who basically seem to have the best lives ever.

A video entitled ‘Dear Mr. Ed Sheeran’ is oh-so-polite in singing the island’s virtues, asking Edward: ‘Did you know that there is a cat island in Japan?’, before essentially emotionally blackmailing him with a load of super cute cat footage.

Ed’s travelled around Japan before, during the VERY LENGTHY hiatus between his second and third album. In fact, he just recently posted an instagram pic from his time there, writing: “Went to Japan travelling last year and it was incredible”.
