Airbnb are upping the game when it comes to holiday rentals - with a brand new pop-up at the Great Wall of China. Yes, the real one. In China.

They’ve partnered with Beijing Tourism to offer the first EVER overnight stays at the famous historical site, to raise awareness for heritage site protection and cultural exchange.

Four lucky humans and their plus ones will win the chance to have the entire wall all to themselves (no mean feat when you consider it’s visited by 27,000 people per day) for one night each from September 4 - 7 this year.

Think about it. This wall is more than 2,300 years old, 13,000 miles long and can be seen from SPACE it’s that frickin huge - and you can be one of only 8 people ever, in the history of its existence, to have this experience. Mind-blowing.

Also that bedroom look hella cute.

For a chance to win, you must write (in 550 characters or less, so don’t flex those essay writing hands like that, it’s intimidating) why you think it’s important to break down barriers between cultures, and how you’d use your time at the Great Wall to build new connections.

Sort of difficult considering you’ll be there on yer todd but hey - get creative.

Each stay includes accommodation inside the ancient portion of the wall, a sunset dinner, a classical music concert, a calligraphy lesson (charge yo frens to write their wedding invitations forevermore), as well as a hike through China’s countryside with the Great Wall’s official historian.

Oh - and you’ll be flown to China from anywhere around the world, too. So basically it’s a pretty sweet deal.

The contest is only open until August 11 - so you might wanna hurry up and apply here asap.
