Harry Potter World is Getting A Magical Makeover
Hogwarts is levelling up...
Universal Orlando Resort just made January a bit less sh*t, by confirming that a new Hogwarts castle projection show is a GO for 2018.
The (deservedly) hyped up Christmas display, which wraps the castle in magical and musical wonder will return for this year’s festive season, but guests will also be treated to another nighttime projection extravaganza.
When exactly this will happen is yet to be announced, but if Universal Studios Japan’s Expecto Patronum Night Show last Autumn is anything to go by, we could be looking at a Halloween special.
The spooky display featured dementors, spells, and more on the castle walls and in the actual sky - plus trick-or-treating in Hogsmeade, which we really hope doesn’t involve puking pastilles.
In the words of those infomercial ads that play all over North America, THAT’S NOT ALL - because Universal are also set to release details about a brand new ride coming to Hogsmeade this year. The new attraction will replace Dragon Challenge, the set of intertwined roller coasters that closed in September.
Well, slap us with a mandrake and call us a Hippogriff - this is EXCITING, isn’t it?
