The world’s obsession with avocados shows no sign of slowing - but one holiday resort in Mexico has taken love of the avo to a whole new level, by letting guests eat, drink, and even have a bath in the stuff.

Billed as ‘Guacamania’ (obvs), Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta now offers a whole range of services dedicated to the country’s native fruit - yes, fruit - including a special menu for avo-addicts.

Yep, from avocado ceviche, to avocado burritos, avocado mousse and even ice-cream, you can literally enjoy a three-course meal all based around the green stuff. As if eating weren’t enough, there’s also a selection of drinks on offer - fancy an avo and pina colada martini? How about avocado shaved ice? Si, Senor.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.

Casa Velas also provides a variety of spa treatments all featuring - you guessed it - avocado, and along with exfoliating scrubs and deep hair conditioning, there’s also the ultimate: a yogurt and avocado body wrap. Holy Guacamole etc. etc.

All-inclusive rates start at just under £200 per person per night, so you might need to save up for a while before you can enjoy. Perhaps boycott the weekend avo-on-toast and put the savings towards a trip?
