This Girl Had an Entire Flight to Herself
Amazing or creepy?
Anyone who has ever been on an aeroplane anywhere will know that realising you’ve got an empty seat next to you after the doors are shut is a legit fist-pump moment.
So imagine the reaction of the woman who rocked up to fly from Rochester, New York to Washington, D.C., only to find that she was the ONLY person on the plane.
Amazing. But also a bit like the start of a horror movie. Just saying.
Thankfully, the empty plane was due to a clerical error, rather than every other passenger having a premonition that something terrible was about to happen - the flight in question was actually only meant for airline staff rather than the general public.
Under the mildly interesting subreddit, Redditor shadybaby22 posted a photo of herself on the empty flight, explaining that she thought something might be up when she was the only one in the waiting area 45 minutes before takeoff.
Apparently, a ticket agent came up to her and said, “I knew this would happen,” which is… comforting?
The downside? She couldn’t zone out during the safety announcements, what with them being directed at her and only her.
“I normally put my earbuds in and listen to something during that but I couldn't!”, she posted.
Well, it’s certainly a story to tell. And hey, no queue for the toilets is always a win.
