there is music *literally* everywhere

Vienna is the music capital of the word. So, so, many musicians visited Vienna and wrote immortal music: Gluck, Beethoven, Mozart and Brahms. As a result, everywhere you walk around the city, there's music: from young future Mozarts to elderly songsters tooting away their tunes, it’s pretty magical and beautiful….

OMG NOM

Austrian food's pretty special in and of itself. But it doesn't get much better than the nine course meal we experienced at the Palais Hansen Kempinski, where super-chef Anton Pozeg serves up authentic, traditional food full of seasonal products. It's pretty special.

The surrounding countryside is bootiful

The scenery around Vienna is as exciting and magical as its city centre. Seemingly endless forests, fields and vineyards make journeys around the city extremely exciting! Zooming around the counryside in a comfy, speedy car like the Ford Vignale is the perfect way to see all the area has to offer.

Schönbrunn Palace

We know a palace may 'sound' stuffy, but this former imperial summer residence has 1,441 rooms and is one of the most important architectural, cultural and historical monuments in the country – but don't take our wafflings for granted; watch our experience of its GIGANTIC gardens below.

so. many. horses

Horses. Yep, lots of horses EVERYWHERE. You can even book a ride with one of these majestic beasts and work your way around the city centre and see every must-see sight, with costs ranging from a minimum of €40 and depending on how long you want your tour to be.

Do what we did, pretend it’s a unicorn and you’re in a magical land where your legs are clippety-cloppety wonders driving you through the city.

Sure, that may not be accurate, but we're tired - sue us.
