Why Canyoning Should Be Next On Your Bucket List
If you've stayed tuned into @mtvtravel_au's Instagram then you will be well aware that in between all the ab-tastic shots of #MTVTrippers Pietro Boselli and Tyson Mayr, there was some pretty fkn cool canyoning.
After a quick brush up on their abseiling skills thanks to Mic fromBlue Mountains Adventure Company, the guys donned their wetsuits, harnesses (fondly nicknamed 'Nappy Sacks') and helmets before the short (but very steep!) hike to the canyon drop off point in the NSW Blue Mountains, Australia.
Pietro and Tyson were naturals from the get-go, jumping straight into cool off after a hot hike and instantly clambering through the caves, doing tricks and messing about.#Bromance
While the duo were far from novices, that first step off Empress Fallsis never easy. Don't. Look. Down.
Strapped in and ready to go, Tyson went first showing off cliff jumping tricks, followed byPietro cannonballing into the waterfall's pool.
To think, just 40 minutes by chopper or a two hour road trip from Sydney and you could be hurling yourself through canyons for an afternoon.
Bucket list goal? CHECK.
