You Can Holiday On A Caribbean Island With A Bunch Of Rescue Puppies & We Need To Be There
If you’re still at a loose end over your summer plans (beach or city break, aka the hardest question in the world), then stress no more, because we have the holiday for you.
Because vacations should not only be relaxing but also ridiculously cute, you’re going to need to get down to the island of Providenciales and spend your two weeks of sun with some rescue puppies.
Potcake Place is a charity based in Turks and Caicos, whose mission is to reduce the number of homeless dogs on the island.
Sounds pretty incredible, right?
Potcakes, a mixed-breed dog that can be found all over the Caribbean, have the slight advantage of being absolutely adorable – and so the charity allows holidaymakers and tourists alike to take the pups on trips out. TO THE BEACH.
Of course, Potcake Place’s dream is that people will end up adopting the strays, but while that’s pretty unrealistic unless you’re living on the island (we wish) at least you can help socialise them while they wait to be placed into a foster home.
