You Can Now Buy One Of The Scariest Houses In Movie History
The infamous 'Amityville Horror House' in New York is now up for sale - which means, yes you can buy it!
Imagine a house which has been involved with a mass murder, paranormal activity and the subject of so many horror movies. Now imagine being able to buy it and live in it. WE KNOW.
The Amityville Horror House in Long Island, New York is up for sale and apparently its spooky past hasn't swayed people from wanting to snap it up. The Washington Post said that it was actually Realtor.com's 'most popular' house last week!
It looks pretty normal to us. So, where did all this spookiness start?!
Over 40 years ago, 23-year-old Ronald J.Defeo shot and killed his parents and siblings when they were all asleep in the house - he apparently argued that Satan had possessed him and voices in the house had told him to do it (WE'VE GOT CHILLS).
The next family who lived in the house abandoned it and all their belongings after only 28 days, because of all the paranormal things that happened.
Their scary experiences led to a book which was published in 1977 called The Amityville Horror which also led to several films - most importantly a 2005 film reboot staring Ryan Reynolds (and yes, he's topless in it so it's definitely worth a watch).

Ok, now we're not going to be able to sleep at night.
