You can now celebrate Christmas at Harry Potter's Wizarding World

We literally cannot even.

Want to celebrate Christmas at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? Now you can.

Did someone say Avada Kedavra? Because we’re dead.

Christmas 2017 just got lit (or should that be lumos?) because it’s now possible to celebrate the holiday season in true magical style – at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida.

Yep, deck the halls with boughs of fluxweed and roll out Rudolph the red-nosed Hippogriff, because the immersive Harry Potter experiences at the Orlando Resort parks will be receiving a serious festive makeover - and it sounds incredible.

An official announcement from Universal (delivered by owl, we presume), says: “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will give guests a special opportunity to see, feel, and even taste what it’s like to celebrate the magic of Christmas in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World”.

Expect Christmas-themed decorations on every storefront in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, live music, festive food taken straight out of the pages of J.K.’s books, and to top it all off – a ‘projection mapping show’ every evening, designed to transform Hogwarts into a festive palace using lights, technology and actual magic.

The Christmas season will run from November 18th until January 6th, and is included in standard park admission. Galloping gargoyles, where do we sign up?

Looks like Santa has some serious competition this year.
