UPDATE: 'Anybody who can survive a plane crash is pretty lucky' Doctor says
Travis Barker and DJ AM are expected to fully recover from burns suffered in a plane crash, their doctor has said.
The ex-Blink-182 drummer and club DJ suffered their injuries in a plane crash in Columbia, South Carolina, on Friday night.
According to reports, there were six people onboard the plane. Sparks were reported by air traffic controllers before the plane took off the runway and crashed. Four people were killed.
The two survivors, who had earlier performed together before the crash, are both still in a critical but stable condition in hospital in Augusta, Georgia, Dr Fred Mullins said.
Those who died in the crash, were identified as pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31; co-pilot James Bland, 52; Barker's assistant Chris Baker, 29; and Charles Still, 25.
Dr. Fred Mullins has said that Barker and DJ AM only received burn injuries.
"Anybody who can survive a plane crash is pretty lucky," Mullins told reporters.
