TRNSMT, Scotland’s Newest Music Festival, Announces Line-up Including The 1975, Biffy Clyro, Radiohead & More

All the details you need - including dates, prices and the rest of the line-up - are HERE...

TRNSMT - pronounced transmit -a brand new festival taking place in Scotland this summer, has just announced its first ever line-up. It’s a cracker.

Featuring headline performances from Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro, TRNSMT will also host the likes of The 1975, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Belle & Sebastian, London Grammar, George Ezra, Two Door Cinema Club, Twin Atlantic, The Kooks, Blossoms, Rag‘n’Bone Man (our MTV Push artist of the month) and Circa Waves.

TRNSMT is a metropolitan, non-camping festival taking place at Glasgow Green from 7-9th July 2017. More line-up details will be hitting over the coming weeks, so keep those beady eyes of yours peeled.

T in the Park will not be taking place this year, but TRNSMT’s organiser is keen to stress that the new festival is not a replacement. "I don't think you can replace T in the Park," the organiser, Geoff, told the BBC. "TRNSMT is on the same weekend that T in the Park would traditionally have been on, but I think that's where the similarities end.

"One is an urban, city centre event and the other is a rural camping event. Next year maybe we'll run a camping festival and have TRNSMT in the city centre as well. But let's see how this year goes first."
