Online radio station The End started streaming the dramatic songs on Friday, even though the movie isn’t out till December.
The half dozen tracks suggest that those hoping the record will be like Daft Punk’s classic house albums will be disappointed.
They’re all instrumental and showcase a moody, dark, suitably cinematic sound.
Daft Punk approached the film makers to work on the Tron sequel as they’re massive fans of the original.
The pair- Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter- also have cameo roles in the movie without their trademark helmets on.
