First Footage Revealed From True Blood Final Season
Rampaging vampires wreak havoc in promo for season seven...
The first footage from the seventh and final series of True Blood has been revealed.
A trailer released by cable channel HBO - which makes the sexy supernatural show - sees Anna Paquin's Sookie Stackhouse horrified as vampires overrun the town.
The trailer begins with what appears to be a violent attack on a church by vampires infected with "hep V" following the events of the previous season.
And Sookie's voiceover goes on to bemoan the government for abandoning the people and explaining that the townsfolk are turning on one another amid the chaos.
The trailer ends with Sookie standing alongside Sam Merlotte, her brother Jason, werewolf Alcide and Sheriff Andy Bellefleur as she says: "There's no one left."
True Blood returns to FOX in the summer.
