Tulisa Accused Of Air Rage On BA Flight

But she insists she’s not a bad role model…

Tulisa Contostavlos has been accused of abusing a British Airways steward during a flight to Majorca.

The Sunday Mirror reports that an argument broke out mid-air when the BA steward asked her boyfriend, N-Dubz rapper Fazer, to turn off his phone in preparation for the plane’s landing.

A witness told the tabloid: "It all suddenly kicked off. The BA guy was very mild-mannered and asked for the phone to be turned off. But Tulisa, who was sitting next to Fazer, got very angry.

"Quite a few passengers would have heard. The guy asked her to calm down. The steward said it was important for everyone's safety that the phone be switched off."

Although British Airways didn’t directly name The X Factor judge, the company released a statement confirming a quarrel had broken out. It read: "British Airways has a record of an incident on a flight from London City to Palma, Majorca, involving two passengers using mobile phones.

"A lady in the party who wasn't using her phone was abusive towards the crew, telling them to leave her friends alone. BA takes a firm stance on the use of mobile phones. The incident was resolved by the cabin crew."

But Tulisa has told Company magazine she considers herself a good role model to her young fans. “People forget the girls that look up to me come from the same background,” she said.

“I'm their role model because I'm the only celebrity that doesn't lie about the fact she swears, gets into arguments, or was naughty when she was younger... just because I swear occasionally doesn't make me a bad person. It makes me human.”
