Tulisa 'Focussing On Hit After Hit', Not An Album
The former N-Dubz singer is all about the music at the moment, as she reveals what she's up to...
Tulisa has revealed she's not even thinking about a new album yet, but instead working hard on hit singles that can stand on their own.
In an interview with Digital Spy, the singer has revealed that after a traumatic first half of 2014 she's all about songs that will get people on the dance floor.
"I'm not even working on an album," she explained. "I've decided to strictly focus on singles. When I'm at the point musically where I feel like I've got back up to where I want to be and prove myself, then I feel like I'll start focussing on an album."
Adding: "Right now, I'm just focussing on hit after hit. For me, if it's not a single I'll put it to one side like, 'Okay, that's for the album one day, whenever that will be.'"
After all you've done, I'm not over you yet
I know your heart is out the door
Let me grab my feelings from the floor
With everything said, and I'll get over you yeah
I'm just playing
Oh baby why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
I'm beggin'
Baby boy, you don't have to be like that
We don't have to be like that
You don't have to be like that
Whoah
I can't believe we're through
Packed bags a lot of broken glass
What a drag used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Whoah
I can't believe you're gone, I'm so hurt
All the love we had, blank stare like you forgot
I used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Can't believe we're through
Can't believe we're through
That amazing smile has been lost for a while
Now everything's a mess
Still not one regret
That heart of gold, when I ask where it's gone you say I don't know
Hey I'm not finished yet
You are my biggest regret, stop playing
Oh baby why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
I'm beggin'
Baby boy, you don't have to be like that
We don't have to be like that
You don't have to be like that
Whoaahh
I can't believe we're through
Packed bags a lot of broken glass
What a drag, used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Whoah
I can't believe you're gone, I'm so hurt
All the love we had, blanks stare like you forgot
I used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Can't believe we're through
I can't believe it's over baby
The journey in my heart is killing me
Breaking me unfaithfully
The sight is burning my eyes
I thought you would be forever babe
But forever has turned to never babe
How if something good go so bad, so quick, so fast
Do it just like that
Yeah boy I can't believe we're through
The end!
If you were a fan of Tulisa's most recent single, Living Without You, then you'll love her new sound.
"It's all happy, dance music. It makes people want to move and smile and want to get down to. I just want to make club anthems that people can party to."
Though it may be a while yet until we see her touring the country: "I'm really focussing on one step at a time - I want everything to be right and perfect."
"I don't want to be like, 'Hey, I'm back. Here's my album, go and buy it'. I want to do the groundwork and build myself up again. So I think tour-wise, I'd more likely go and support someone rather than do my own right now."
