Tulisa Reveals She Almost Quit Showbiz!
The Female Boss claims after her time on the X Factor, she wanted to step out of the spotlight…
Tulisa has revealed that after she left the X Factor, she almost quit showbiz all together.
During an interview with Mail Online, the Living Without You singer confessed that during her stint as a judge, she had lost her passion - not just for Simon Cowell's talent show, but for the world of entertainment itself.
The Female Boss candidly told the website: "I never let it affect my job, I still wanted to be there, don't get me wrong - I wasn't putting on a fake show. It was just a case of the fight had left me.
"I did go through a stage of, before (her drug sting court case) even happened, where I didn't want to do anything. I wanted to give up music, TV and just completely step out of the industry."
After all you've done, I'm not over you yet
I know your heart is out the door
Let me grab my feelings from the floor
With everything said, and I'll get over you yeah
I'm just playing
Oh baby why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
I'm beggin'
Baby boy, you don't have to be like that
We don't have to be like that
You don't have to be like that
Whoah
I can't believe we're through
Packed bags a lot of broken glass
What a drag used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Whoah
I can't believe you're gone, I'm so hurt
All the love we had, blank stare like you forgot
I used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Can't believe we're through
Can't believe we're through
That amazing smile has been lost for a while
Now everything's a mess
Still not one regret
That heart of gold, when I ask where it's gone you say I don't know
Hey I'm not finished yet
You are my biggest regret, stop playing
Oh baby why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
Why don't you just please come back
I'm beggin'
Baby boy, you don't have to be like that
We don't have to be like that
You don't have to be like that
Whoaahh
I can't believe we're through
Packed bags a lot of broken glass
What a drag, used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Whoah
I can't believe you're gone, I'm so hurt
All the love we had, blanks stare like you forgot
I used to love the sight of you
Now I can't stand the sight of you
Can't believe we're through
I can't believe it's over baby
The journey in my heart is killing me
Breaking me unfaithfully
The sight is burning my eyes
I thought you would be forever babe
But forever has turned to never babe
How if something good go so bad, so quick, so fast
Do it just like that
Yeah boy I can't believe we're through
The end!
She added: "It wasn't just the passion for the show, it was the passion for everything. Not just on X Factor, everything in general. I just needed a break."
Despite not being up to her best on the ITV talent show, T went on to add that she has no regrets: "When I first joined the show, I may have got a lot of stick in the beginning but I feel like I did prove myself with Little Mix and I was accepted as a judge on the panel after that."
And, speaking of her triumphant return to this series as pal Louis Walsh's guest mentor, the N-Dubz babe concluded: "Being able to come back on The X Factor was a big deal for me, a big moment. My solo career really kicked off from that show and I don't felt like I left it on such a high.
"So to be able to go back on it after all the rubbish that I'd gone through that year and for them to welcome me back with open arms, it felt like the perfect place, because it was just after the case, to celebrate the comeback and be like, 'Yeah, I'm back.' It meant a lot."
