Chris Herbert has been named in her legal battle over the footage...
Tulisa is reportedly suing the man who created theSpice Girls over her Simon Cowell - is accused of being involved in a plot to cash in on the clip of [uuid=7c849de4-cbf2-47a2-92d9-82b36d0b7451]Tulisa performing a sex act on ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards.
The 41-year old has allegedly been named as a defendant in the N-Dubz star's legal battle over the leak.
Contostavlos claims that Herbert, who once managed Edwards a.k.a. MC Ultra, had hoped to pocket £4million with his alleged accomplices by selling on the footage.
As a result of his apparent involvement, Chris is said to have also been dropped from his consultancy role on The X Factor, over fears he could clash with Tulisa.
The Sun reports that bosses later turned their backs on the plans after the newspaper told them about the legal case.
A source at Cowell's SyCo record label later told the tabloid that SiCo was "was not aware of this legal issue", claiming the music mogul had not worked with Herbert "for a number of years"
A spokesperson stated: “As a result of us becoming aware of the ongoing legal dispute between Tulisa and Mr Herbert, we have decided it is in everyone’s interest for him to not be involved in the forthcoming series.”
In a statement to the High Court dated on 29th June, Tulisa's lawyer Jonathan Coad said that Herbert “played a pivotal role in commercial exploitation of the film”, adding: "The expectation of those involved was they would earn seven-figure sums.”
The Young singer has also accused four other men - including a porn movie director - of their involvement in the leak. Herbert has since refused to comment on the case.
Last week, Tulisa settled her court case against Edwards, celebrating her win by flying a group of friends to Ibiza.
