We Doubt Louis Walsh Will Be Back On X Factor After Branding Cheryl "Lazy" And "Irrelevant"
Louis Walsh may have recently denied being sacked from the 'X Factor', but he’s not doing himself any favours if he wants his job back.
The Irish music mogul has stuck the knife into judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, which is bound to ruffle Simon Cowell’s feathers as it’s nosecret that he totes loves the Geordie.
Walsh believes that Chezza is lucky to have kept her seat on the panel, telling Heat magazine: “Cheryl wasn’t great last year, she’s sometimes lazy and lacks energy. She needs to give more, she can give so much more.
“She’s irrelevant these days. I know people say the same about me, but apart from anything, I am fun and I have a rapport with Simon.”
He went on to suggest that SiCo rehire Mel B or previous panelists Nicole Scherzinger or Sharon Osbourne instead of Cheryl, adding: “Personally, I’d rather have Mel B on the panel, I love her - but that’s not going to happen.
“I’d like to see Nicole back and I reckon Simon would, too, but I don’t suppose Cheryl would work with her.”
The 62-year old concluded: “If I had my dream girl to pick for that panel, it would be Sharon Osbourne, because she’s fun. She knows her stuff and she’s not frightened to say it.”
Louis has always had a frosty relationship with Chez, with the pair first clashing during the early days when he was a former manager of her group, Girls Aloud.
It is currently unknown who will join Simon and Cheryl on the panel, with rumoured judge Nick Grimshaw recently expressing some interest in joining the talent show.
