What We Learned From Part Two Of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce’

Bruce continues to explain his transition to his family...

On Sunday (May 17) the first part of the long-awaited 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' special ‘About Bruce’ aired on TV.

While the first installment dealt with Bruce finally breaking the news to his children that he could be living publicly as a woman as early as this Spring, the second half of the programme focuses more on the next steps for the family -and also resolving any conflict between them.

Here’s what we learned from the final part of ‘About Bruce’…

The family will just ‘know’ when to start referring to Bruce as ‘her’

While Bruce has previously specified that he would like people to use male pronouns when referring to him until he specifies otherwise, he assured Kendall, Kylie and the rest that, “You will see me and you will know”.

Bruce will NOT be undergoing full gender reassignment surgery in the near future

It’s not completely off the table, but for the moment Bruce has said, “No. As of right now, no.”

Kris is still very much struggling with her ex-husband’s transition

Even though Kris slammed reports that she refused to comment on Bruce’s journey during his interview with Diane Sawyer, it’s clear she’s finding his decision difficult to deal with.

In a very emotional confrontation, Kris explains why she’s angry, saying: “Maybe it's because I'm the one you lied to the longest. You were angry [and] that made me angry.”

Bruce wasn’t ‘grossed out’ when he was sleeping with Kris, and he is still 100% attracted to women

A question his daughters were clearly embarrassed to ask, but Bruce was upfront and honest with them, clarifying that he’s ‘totally heterosexual’ and has ‘always been attracted to women’.

Kourtney is worried about explaining the situation to her children

Kourtney and Scott have three children aged 5, 2 and under a year old, and Kourt has previously said that her biggest worry is explaining Bruce’s transition to them at the right time and in the right way.

During the show, she stops discussing Bruce while son Mason walks by, telling Scott, “I just don’t want to talk about it in front of him yet”.

Scott goes on to add: “It's only a positive for my son and my daughter to know all these things that go on in this world”, but he and Kourtney would like to begin that conversation when Bruce is further along in his transition.

Scott Disick is just a wonderful human being

Scott is typically given a lot of grief on KUWTK (and some of it is completely deserved), but when it comes to Bruce, he knows exactly what to say -and really proves his love for his in-laws.

While the pair have always had a slightly reserved relationship, Scott revealed that he thinks him finally telling his story can only help matters, saying: “Bruce is going to open the door for so many people who are going to be able to live their lives they way they want to.

“It's so overwhelmingly nice for me to be able to see you feel comfortable and be happy."

Kim might just be Bruce’s new stylist

Before she was a big reality star, Kim was a celebrity stylist, which we were quickly reminded of as she raidedBruce’s wardrobe -ready for when starts fully living as a woman.

Even though Kim tells Bruce he needs ‘chic-er’ clothes than he has, he’s clearly really appreciative of her help, telling her: “I couldn’t have a better stylist than you, that’s for sure.”

The whole Kardashian/Jenner clan are fully supportive of Bruce and his journey

Despite her frustrations, Kris tells Bruce pretty much everything he could ever wantto hear and more.

She explains to him: "I just want you to know that you were a great dad, you were a great friend, and you were a great partner.

“At the end of the day it's not about my feelings, it's about you, and I just want you to be happy."

Bruce will continue to share his courageous journey with us during his own 8-part docu-series, which will premiere in July on E!.
