Sorry X Factor and Zoella fans, but the YouTube vlogging star won't be hosting this year's season of Xtra Factor. Sob.

Taking to Twitter to set the record straight, Zoe replied to a fan who asked if she'd be taking on the job with a categorical no.

Rumours first began to circulate last week that when The Sun reported that a selection of top vloggers were in the frame to replace Sarah Jane-Crawford.

"There is serious interest in Zoella and Simon is keen to hear how she developed such a huge online following with young people," a source told the publication.

Adding: "It's wide open at the moment and they could even test more potential presenters in the coming weeks."

Other names in the mix also included Zoe's brother Joe Sugg, Big Brother winner Brian Dowling and Kiss FM's Melvin and Ricky.
