R-Pattz And K-Stew Felt "Love At First Sight".
Rumoured couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were attracted to each other as soon as they met, according to Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.
Speaking to Newsweek, Hardwicke revealed that Kristen had pushed for Pattinson to be offered the role of Edward Cullen after kissing him in the audition.
Hardwicke originally had trouble finding an actor otherworldly enough to play Edward the vampire, but then recived a call about a guy in London.
“I looked at a couple pictures and was like, ‘I’m not sure.’ He had been fired from his last job, he was unemployed, he was in debt.”
Pattinson then apparently paid for his own flight out to Los Angeles to read for Hardwick alongside Kristen Stewart.
“You’ve got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old,” Hardwicke told him.
“She’s underage. You’ve got to focus, dude, or you’re going to be arrested.
"I made him swear on a stack of Bibles!”
