The Twilight films have influenced what parents are naming their kids in the US, according to new figures.

‘Cullen’ was the fastest rising boys name in the list for 2009- apparently influenced by character Edward Cullen.

‘Isabella’ has taken the top spot in the girls name countdown while the abbreviated ‘Bella’ has risen to number 58.

The two characters are played on screen by heartthrob Robert Pattinson and his rumoured real life girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

The names are only likely to get more popular in the States with at least two more Twilight movies still to be released.
