Twilight Is 10 Years Old: Here's Where The Cast Are Now
The first Twlight movie came out ten years ago today! Can you believe it's been ten years since we were pledging our allegiances to #TeamEdward or #TeamJacob? But rather than sparkle and fade (get it?), the cast of the iconic vampire series have gone on to do all kinds of fangs (like, things? Sorry.)since.Here’s where the cast of the 2008 phenomenon are now...
Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan)
Our seventeen-year-old heroine and hero of the series, Kristen Stewart brought Bella Swan to the big screen for all of the Twilight movies, until Breaking Dawn Part 2 in 2012. Since then she’s gone from strength to strength, starring in critically-acclaimed films like Clouds of Sils Maria, Still Alive and Personal Shopper, bagging a ton of respected awards in the process. Kristen will return to the world of mega-blockbusters next year, starring in the reboot of Charlie’s Angels.
Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen)
In 2008 Rob set the world’s hearts aflame with his steely cold looks as the world’s oldest heartthrob, 108-year-old vampire Edward Cullen. Since then, Robert has gained critical acclaim for his roles in Maps To The Stars, The Rover and last year’s Good Time and The Lost City Of Z. He’s also used his superstardom for philanthropy, raising awareness for various charities across the globe. Next year, Rob will return to the big screen in dark fantasy horror The Lighthouse opposite Willem Dafoe.
Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black)
Taylor Lautner achieved an army of fans firmly in #TeamJacob as Bella’s childhood mate and soon-to-be-wolf-shapeshifter. Since Twilight and worldwide hunk status, taylor appeared in Adam Sandler comedies Grown Ups 2 and The Ridiculous 6, as well as starring in the award-winning British sitcom Cuckoo alongside Greg Davies and Andy Samberg, and as Dr Cassidy Cascade in Scream Queens.
Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen)
Edward’s adopted pixie-ish sister could see the future: handy in the Twilight films when drama is kicking off all the time. IRL, Ashley’s future has been bright: appearing with Thandie Newton in TV series Rogue, and will be seen in 2019 opposite the likes of Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie in Fox News-based drama film Fair And Balanced.
Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen)
Kellan starred as the Cullen vamp with the buffest bod in Twilight, so naturally he went on to star as Hercules in 2014’s The Legend Of Hercules! In 2019, you’ll see him in Taraji. P Henson comedy What Men Want, a remake of the classic comedy What Women Want.
Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale)
Nikki starred as Rosalie, Emmett Cullen’s vampire partner, in Twilight. Since, she’s starred in various films and as soldier Betsy Ross in the Sleepy Hollow TV series.
Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale)
Jackson Rathbone starred as vampire Jasper in Twilight, the newest addition to the Cullen family and Alice Cullen’s partner. Since, he’s starred in romantic mystery thriller Pali Road and teen TV series Finding Carter, as well as going on tours across he US and internationally with his band, 100 Monkeys.
Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen)
The vampire town physician was the patriarch of the Cullen family. More recently, Peter could be seen in Supergirl as Maxwell Lord and will appear in the upcoming Nicholas Cage film Running With The Devil.
Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen)
As Carlisle’s wife in the Twilight movies, Esme was the mum-figure of the Cullen clan. Since the Twilight saga Elizabeth has been busy starring in big-budget TV productions including True Detective and Netflix’s The Haunting Of Hill House.
Anna Kendrick (Jessica Stanley)
Remember when Hollywood A-lister Anna Kendrick was Bella’s school pal in Twilight? Of course since then, she’s gone on to superstardom, leading the Pitch Perfect movies, bagging an Oscar nomination for her role in Up In The Air, and most recently starring opposite Blake Lively in mystery thriller A Simple Favour.
'And if you want to relive the epic saga, the Twilight Complete Collection 10th Anniversary Edition is out now on DVD/Blu-ray.'
