Tyler, The Creator has been arrested after reportedly encouraging fans to push past security to get into a sell-out show at SXSW.
The 23-year-old rapper has been charged with inciting a riot following an incident at the Scoot Inn in Austin, Texas, on Thursday.
A statement from local police read: "Specifically, the subject encouraged a large crowd on more than one occasion to force themselves past venue employees controlling access at the venue which was already at full capacity."
And the legal statement also reveals that officers were called to the venue and told it had already reached its capacity of 999.
A video released by the police appears to show Tyler shouting at fans to "just run in right now ... do it, let's go".
His encouragement is alleged to have led the crowd to "push through the employees working at the door which created an immediate danger of injury to persons".
