To say Uncharted 4 is one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year is probably an understatement. So obvs, the chance to avoid that wait is enough to make some fans feel like Christmas has come early. Lucky for them a leak has made that possible.

Some retailers have, whoops, accidentally shipped the game early to people who pre-ordered.

GOOD NEWS FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T WAIT - some of those pre-order gamers don't seem as bothered as you might think they'd be and are selling the games online. Eek! Their loss, our gain and all that...

Uncharted 4 isn't due for general release until 10 May for £44 on the Sony PS4. If you want to be one of those early players you can take to eBay and grab a copy now - but don't expect it to be cheap. The game is on the bidding site with a price starting at £100.

The early shipping appears to be an international mistake as gamers all over the globe are tweeting that they've received theirs early.

Obviously Sony isn't supporting the title just yet so if you do join the early buying brigade you'll be limited to the single player campaign mode only until the multiplayer servers get turned on for that 10 May launch.
