Louis Walsh: 'I'm Disappointed In Union J'
The X Factor judge says he hoped for bigger things from boy band...
Louis Walsh has admitted that he has been disappointed by the relative lack of success for Union J.
The veteran talent show judge and pop manager - who earlier this week tore a strip off James Arthur - got onto the subject in an interview with Digital Spy.
Asked if he'd be wearing a onesie this year, he replied: "I never wear a onesie. I just did that last year to get votes for Union J."
And he then moved on to offer his assessment of the boy band's career so far.
"They're doing okay. I thought they would have been a little bit bigger. I think give them a bit more time... to grow."
He also revealed that he is planning to launch a new boy band to follow in the footsteps of Irish acts Boyzone and Westlife.
"They're just five boys, Irish. No name [yet], nothing," he said.
But he teased that their debut single will be out "in a few months' time".
