Union J Signing Record Contract With Sony

Union J are signing to record label Sony with the intention of releasing an album in 2013.

The news [uuid=b77854df-dbf5-45ba-8e78-f3100b313a17]Ella Henderson signing to the same label - which has first shout on any of the finalists on The X Factor.

The band broke the news to fans at a gig in Cardiff over the weekend, and confirmed it on ITV's Daybreak this morning.

Jaymi Hensley said: "It's amazing. It's been a crazy week.

"Obviously when we came out of the show the dream was to get a record deal and we're going to Sony today to sort out all the contracts and stuff. Before Christmas we will have our deal finalised."

The show's winner James Arthur went to No 1 in the Official UK Singles Chart yesterday with his debut track Impossible.
